After 8 Consecutive Months of Unemployment, VT DOL Data Suggests Unemployment may be stabilizing

The Vermont Department of Labor has issued a report noting that the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for the state has remained steady at 2.1 percent since last month. This comes after a trend that has occurred during the previous eight months of a consisted increase in unemployment. However, in spite of these stabilizing figures, the report also indicates that employment has fallen and jobless numbers continue to increase.
